My
end-of-year goal for Tears of Heaven
is to sell a total of 100 digital copies.
I’m
currently at around 55. Simple math
tells me that I am shy my goal by 45 books.
Your assistance in this matter is definitely required!
It
was pointed out to me that I have about 600 likes on my Facebook author page,
and a little over 400 Facebook friends.
I’d love to sell a book to all of you and share my story, but I
understand about things and stuff and time and whatnot.
There
is no guilt here. I am flat out asking
you for your $6. You earned it. You worked hard for it. You have every reason to hold onto it for as
long as possible. That $6 that could buy
you a gallon-and-a-half of gasoline, or an Extra Value Meal Deal from McDonald’s,
or a coffee of your choice from Starbucks (I think, I don’t actually know since
I don’t actually drink coffee).
All
fine and wonderful things.
All
things that are not Tears of Heaven.

It’s
your money. I’m asking you to give it to
me. In exchange, I promise to take you
into a world of thrilling danger, fast-paced adventure, high-seas action, and
heart-warming romance. There are pirates, angels, demons, strong women, and handsome men who carry big swords. I guarantee you a
page-turning story that won’t let you put it down.
But
perhaps romance and adventure aren’t your thing. That’s groovy. You don’t have to even read the book. Buy it as a collector’s item. Keep it in its digital packaging,
untouched—mint in the box. Years from
now, you can sell it for a fortune (please note, I do not guarantee you a
fortune).
For
those of you who have already bought my book, you have no idea what that
means. A thousand thoughtful, hand drawn
